Kid Fonque has become a vital part of South Africa’s electronic and club culture over the last 20 years.

This DJ, producer, label owner, radio host and promoter has helped nurture a new wave of musical talent across the board – from hip hop to house to new-age jazz – and his open-minded approach to embracing genre and recognising talent has established him a cornerstone of our industry.

From his first job as a security guard who literally watched another security guard, to working his way up to floor manager in the same music store, Allan has the persistence to match his obsession with the music industry as he strives to unearth eclectic talent. Just don’t send him your demo – he’ll find you.
