Francois van Coke is much loved and revered in the industry for his humble nature and his musical prowess.

Over an 18-year-career that has seen him flawlessly reinvent himself more than a few times, there’s always been a part of him that’s stuck to his guns, while adapting to the changing times around him.

With a string of #1 albums, sold out arena shows and a whole country of Afrikaans hearts under his belt, he is quite simply, the undisputed king of South African rock ‘n’ roll.

We caught up with him for an epic trip down memory lane, through the heart of contemporary SA rock ’n’ roll that culminates in a spot of boxing, all while a kiddies mermaid party is being planned in the background.

Season 6 is here and we have gathered a special group of guests that showcase the best talent Africa has to offer, and we’re highlighting them alongside our friends at Jägermeister.

This season we are asking you to “Be the Meister” alongside us and Jägermeister as we take you on a journey – from championing the next generation of African musical talent across the board, to challenging the way that women are spoken and thought about in rap, to more than a few raucous rock ‘n’ roll tales from back in the day.

So sit back, relax and enjoy a little peek into what we have in store for you.
